Gerakas Port: An excellent port for all yachts with perfect shelter from all winds. Gerakas is 25 km from Monemvasia and used to be one of the most important ports for maritime activity in the Myrtoan sea.

Kiparissi Bay: Used to be common for day trips in the Peleponnese, boats still moor near the village of Kapsala.

There are no airports in Monemvasia. Kythira and Kalamata are the closest airports but the most convenient one is the Eleftherios Venizelos Airport in Athens.
